With just a petty design experience, I can show you how to use Photoshop to create Cricut Cut files with this tutorial! Utilize your own graphics or purchased designs for beautiful print and cutting illustrations!

Welcome to another week of the Cricut Mail service Serial! I almost always utilize Adobe Illustrator to create Cricut Cut Files, just not everyone knows how to use it. I've found a lot of people are more comfortable with Adobe Photoshop, and so I wanted to give you a tutorial on how to use Photoshop for creating Cricut Cut Files! Don't worry, we'll cover Illustrator, likewise!

Tools For How To Use Photoshop:

• Cricut Maker or Cricut Explore Air -while I don't use my Cricut in this tutorial, you volition still need it when y'all cut out your project.
• Cricut Design Space
• Adobe Photoshop
• Bright Life Watercolor Ready
• Hello Sunshine Font

Step-By-Step How To Utilise Photoshop To Create Cricut Cut Files:

1. Open Adobe Photoshop, and so create a new document. Tip: I always recommend making the file size larger than the size yous volition be cutting out since Photoshop images can get pixelated if y'all enlarge them.
2. Become to FILE so click on Place Embed and choose a PNG image you'd like to use. I used elements from the Bright Life Watercolor Set.
3. Repeat until you lot accept all the elements y'all'd like, then rearrange and resize them. Tip: To move an item to the back or front end, become to the LAYERS panel, click on the element, then drag it downward or upward.
4. Select the type tool, then choose your font (I used Hello Sunshine Font). Click anywhere on the page and start typing. Arrange the size in the Grapheme Console.
5. 11. Create a new layer in the layers panel behind the graphic past clicking on the pasty note icon.
12. Go to the Drawing Tool, make sure the color is white, and start coloring on the graphic in the new layer.
13. Once it'south filled in, go to FILE, click on SAVE Equally and cull PNG as the file type.

Now that your file is saved, y'all tin can upload it to Cricut Design Infinite as a Print and Cut file! Cricut will practise the rest for you 🙂
